A Betzelem (the Human Rights Group) observer had filmed the incident which was broadcast on all Israel’s TV Channels and publicized on the social media and beyond. Had Betzelem not filmed this incident, it is doubtful if the soldier, who had shot the Palestinian terrorist after he had been rendered harmless, probably dying in the street would have created a stir in the media. The IDF would have investigated the incident and the soldier involved may have been let off the hook with cautionary warning.
Contrary to what many Israelis think, Betzelem did a service to Israel and the IDF by filming the incident. It will give a clue as to what really happened as legal experts will use this vital information to see whether there is room for indictment of the soldier involved. The moment that evidence is hidden when it is available in order to “whitewash” a possible crime is in itself criminal.
The IDF protocol on using a weapon in order to kill is clear and acceptable by any standard. It prohibits soldiers from firing indiscriminately at an enemy when he/she does not endanger life. We have no right to question or doubt IDF decisions on this issue. We have every right to support the IDF in carrying out its duty to protect Israel’s citizens from Palestinian terror. We have no right to support the soldier’s shooting a Palestinian terrorist, who has been rendered harmless by the IDF. The right wing politicians in the Israeli Coalition Government and even some rabbis have behaved irresponsibly in a case that is sub judice, in praising the soldier for carrying out an “act of heroism” which, according to the Betzelem film clip, does not appear to be the case. Shooting a terrorist or murderous criminal who is unarmed and rendered harmless because of a whim whatever that may be is criminal.
Polls have been taken using samples of the Israeli electorate which show an overwhelming support for the soldier’s act. This is rather disappointing and is really indicative of the public’s support of vigilante actions against a Palestinian terrorist who is lying in a prone position on the ground.
One thing is certain and that is the Palestinian terrorist was no danger to anybody’s life when he was fatally shot by a soldier who was not authorized to do so. This is how the Betzelem film portrayed the situation. Betzelem had performed a positive service in this case in order that justice is done.
The problem is that Ad Kan,a right wing organization,is involved in vigilante activity funded by the settler movement. Ad Can infiltrated Breaking the Silence to spy on them is sinister and smells of intrigue for political gain of the right wing Israeli Government. If the Shin Bet that is non-political did this acting on suspicion that military secrets were being disclosed to countries or groups hostile to Israel (there are no shortage of them), then this is justifiable. If Breaking the Silence violated security laws by extracting secret military information from soldiers’ testimonies they must be held accountable and charged in a court of law. Extracting military secrets and getting testimony on human rights abuses are not connected. The latter is justifiable while the former is treachery and is against the law.
Israel is faced with many problems that other countries in the western world do not face. Palestinian terrorists infiltrate daily and stab innocent Israelis because of a whim - very often a personal, psychological issue or even a family problem. Their stabbing and ramming innocent people with vehicles are not even connected to the occupation issue. It is connected to hate for Jews that even spills over into stabbing Arabs, who resemble Jews. The hate propaganda of the Hamas and PA leadership is in no way constructive in solving the conflict. It just exacerbates it. The praise for Palestinian terrorists and declaring them shuhada (martyrs) encourages them on the social media to carry on with their murders of innocent people. Apart from periodic Islamic State attacks in Europe, what other country has the security problems and an implacable “partner for peace” that has closed the door for any form of dialogue? The “implacable partners” have no interest in peace - their interest is Israel’s total destruction by their own admission as well as the personal enrichment of its leaders. The hackneyed “occupation” mantra used so much by BDS and other hostile anti-Israel organizations that are also anti-Semitic who are allies of the potential “liberators of Palestine” such as Hamas, Daesh and Salafi Islamists, are being served by those who divulge Israel’s military secrets.
The work of Breaking the Silencein gaining testimony on human rights abuses should not be viewed as treacherous but viewed as a watchdog to prevent human rights abuse by the military against innocent Palestinians if this is done without compromising on Israel’s security. This function should be performed by the IDF that would render this NGO redundant. However, this is not the case at present. The IDF and Breaking the Silence should cooperate with each other and information gleaned by Breaking the Silence should be referred to the legal dept of the IDF before the dirty washing is hung out in the streets in order to denigrate Israel even further.
At this stage an investigation will be undertaken by the legal authority on the issue of divulging military secrets by Breaking the Silence. It is inexcusable that this NGO serves the interest of Israel’s enemies. Most of the enemies wish to see Israel’s destruction and its replacement by an Islamic State that is monolithic and insensitive to human rights is not an option nor is it justifiable on a moral basis.

It does not seem logical let alone very destructive for the Arab
leaders of the Joint List in the Knesset to proclaim that Hezbollah is not a
terrorist organization. The Balad and Hadash factions in this list are pressurizing
the Joint Arab List to support Hezbollah and legitimize it. What is the purpose
of doing this? Hezbollah has a history of firing rockets into Israel and
injuring Arab citizens of Israel as well. Rockets fired into Israel kill and
destroy and make no distinction between Jews and Arabs. In this respect it is
not apartheid-friendly.
The Joint List is the third largest party in the Knesset. It is in
the unique position of representing the Arab Israeli minority’s interests and
fighting for equality with its Jewish counterparts in Israel. There is much
that can be done in that sphere. Combating social and work discrimination as
well as improving socio-economic conditions for the Arab community they
represent is a formidable task. It should work in improving relations between
Arab and Jewish citizens of Israel and acting as a bridge between the two
communities. Ayman Oudeh, the Joint List leader prior to his election to the Knesset,
appeared to move along the path of coexistence, promoting dialogue between the
communities and certainly deserved
support for taking the line of tolerance in outreach.
What has happened to Oudeh? Why is he not showing the leadership
qualities for which he was elected? He is being led into a direction which is
creating distrust between his party and Jewish Israelis. He is not forthcoming
in representing his electorate’s interests of coexistence and socio-economic
improvement as well as integration into being Israel Citizens with equal human
rights and dignity that the Arab Citizens of Israel are entitled. The Balad factions
of his party are pandering to the peers of Palestinian terrorists, who come into
Israel on lone stabbing sprees. Instead he and his party are antagonizing
Jewish Israelis as well as many Arab Israelis by wasting unnecessary energy on
standing to attention and sympathizing with parents of Palestinian terrorists whose
sons and daughters were killed while committing terrorist acts. This is no way
to gain the trust of Jewish and Arab Israelis.
Added to the behavior of the Joint List, which seems to represent
Palestinian interests in the Knesset rather than Israeli Arab interests by the
rhetoric in support of viewing Hezbollah as a movement devoid of terrorism
creates an unnecessary schism between Arabs and Jews in Israel.
If he wishes to regain the trust of Jewish Israelis as well as many
Arab Israelis, who have also suffered at the hand of Palestinian terror, he
should retract the statement declaring Hezbollah as not being a terrorist
movement and be more forthcoming in condemning Palestinian terror against
innocent citizens by not getting involved in returning terrorist Palestinian
corpses to their families. There are channels in Israel whereby this is being
done without Joint List sympathy and activity.
There is no doubt that the Palestinian pundits, who claim to espouse Palestinian rights and oppose the Israeli occupation, are feathering the nests of Hamas and their ilk. These wealthy savages do not care about the Palestinians. Their mantras of hate for Israel and support of killing Jews wherever they can is what these sanctimonious BDS pundits and communist-fascists support. The occupation is Israel’s existence and not only territories occupied in the June War of 1967. This has been made crystal clear by Hamas and the PA (in its agenda).
Hamas, the Palestinian Authority (PA), and their terrorist allies are masters of deception, lies and fantasies. They know that the lies they spread on every world podium serves their interests financially. The Palestinians do not benefit at all. They live in absolute poverty and the brainwashing propaganda of racist and Islamic hatred for Jews is their lot, instead of money for improving their lives and infrastructure that includes education, health and social services to which they are entitled. The thuggish BDS movement, directed by pseudo-liberal sickos, is wallowing in their self-righteousness, lies and deception that Hamas and its racist allies spew into their pea-brains. They damage the Palestinian cause (whatever that may be) by denying them basic human rights in their support of Hamas. The Palestinian People deserve far better conditions than what their multi-millionaire Hamas buffoons in Qatar decide they deserve, if anything at all apart from hate and bloodshed, governed by their fantasies of destroying the “Zionist Entity”.
Yes! It is the BDS movement that strengthens Hamas and motivates them to torture those, who oppose their cruel rule in Gaza and the enrichment of the PA, whose human rights record in the West Bank is no less dismal. The Hamas-PA Axis will never achieve an independent, democratic Palestinian State alongside Israel. Democracy does not exist in the Palestinian leadership. Human rights are a joke in the Middle East anyway. As far as Islam is concerned, democracy is the way of the infidel and will never be part of their agenda for an improved, humane society. Perhaps the US and EU still believe that under their parochial guidance, an independent,democratic,Palestinian State - the Two-State Solution, will arise out of the shambles created by tribal disunity and bloodshed, as well as its desire to ethnically cleanse Israel of its Jews. The Palestinian, thuggish, leadership thrives on the poverty of the Palestinian People, claiming that the Israeli occupation is to blame for their misfortunes and tragedies. Every day that these thugs cry crocodile tears in the UN, their private bank balance enlarges.
BDS cries for them and it seems that other organizations like J Street is also falling into the trap of their lies and deception as well, while the Palestinian People suffer even more.
If ending the occupation in the West Bank is considered a moral and justified alternative, with the promise of an improved quality of life for the Palestinian People, including democracy and a human rights package, it deserves support. This unfortunately will not happen. At best, it will be a Palestinian State run by a dictatorial, despotic wealthy Islamic Hamas leadership that is quick to torture and murder opponents in cold blood in the streets after justice is meted out in their kangaroo courts. There is no “at worst”. “Best and worse” are synonymous in this case. This is what the wackos of double standards - BDS and its allies wish to achieve. Daesh (ISIS) will also be waiting on the sidelines to take over from Hamas when the time is ripe, carrying on beheadings and raping every woman in sight. They will also take a bash at attacking Israel with Hamas support. Is this what these pseudo-liberal, Palestinian supporters wish to achieve? A Caliphate? Maybe this will be the alternative to the “occupation” (Israel’s very existence). We need to see what the Arab Spring has achieved in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya and other tribal Arab States (except the mono-tribal Gulf States) and this will happen in a “free post-occupation Palestine”. This will be a BDS and its pundits’ dream!
Suspending Knesset
members for meeting with Palestinian families over the return of the bodies of
Palestinian terrorists and somehow exhibiting empathy with them by standing in
silence to respect their memory is indiscreet. It also conveys a message to Israelis
that there is an understanding on the part of these MKs for stabbing attacks
against innocent people. While they did condemn terrorism it was more a message
of blaming the occupation and its influence of frustration on the Palestinian
mind that causes these attacks. The way these MKs handled the situation lacked
total sensitivity to the feelings of those who lost family because of these
stabbing attacks as well as the victims who survived these attacks. This cannot
be justified under any circumstances. We must also understand that the Arab MKs
do not view the conflict and its solution in the same way as the majority of
Israelis. They somehow feel a certain bond with the Palestinians in the
occupied territories. This explains their attitude towards them even though
many abominable acts of terror against Israelis are committed by them.
Having said that, these MKs did not break the law and breaking the law is the only reason that
can be viewed as justification for suspension or expulsion from the Knesset.
Expulsion of MKs for meeting with parents of terrorists for condolence
purposes, as distasteful as it is, is not a reason to delegitimize them in the
eyes of those who elected them to the Knesset. The Israeli Government wishes to pass a law to delegitimize them, but the debate ended in chaos, and possible legislation
in that direction will be a threat
to Israel’s democracy. It could have very wide interpretations and the ruling coalition
could abuse this law to delegitimize the right of other MKs to oppose them, if
it is felt that opposing views constitute treachery in their eyes.
The President of Israel,
Reuven Rivlin, is a traditional Likudnik of Revisionist Jabotinsky mode, and
the Speaker of the Knesset, Yuli Edelstein, are opposed to enacting a law that delegitimizes MKs that have meetings with
enemies according to ruling government definition of such.
The reasons for the
stabbings is not because of the occupation of territories since the 1967 June
War (In Palestinian minds, it began in 1948 with the establishment of the State
of Israel - Al Naqba - The Catastrophe). The education system in the Palestinian
Territories is geared to brainwash youngsters to hate Jews and it is considered
an honor to kill as many as possible. Palestinian TV and the social media such
as Face book and Twitter are full of propaganda against Israel and the Jews as
well as dehumanizing them. It is very clear that the Palestinian leadership,
whether it is Hamas or the Palestinian Authority, do not want a non-Muslim
country (Israel) in their midst as they believe that they have no right to
exist here according to Islam. All the rhetoric over the years in the
Palestinian Campo reflects that and even before the Six Day June War of 1967.
The last few articles written on
this blog were devoted to the feasibility of ending the occupation as well as a
possible scenario that could occur ifIsraelwould
end the occupation and withdraw from territories occupied in the Six Day June
1967 War. It is really a vicious circle and we always seem to return to the
same problem.The
problem of the inability of the Arab States to recognizeIsrael's right to exist is
an engraved mantra going back over 100 years. It is NOT the occupation since
the Six DayJune Warof
1967. As mentioned in previous articles, wars were fought prior to the Six Day
War. History has illustrated this. The occupation is a result of a Israel's
strike againstEgyptas
Egypt had closed theTiran Straitsto Israel's shipping after ordering
the UN to remove its UNICEF from there. Jordan and Syria joined Egypt in
an attempt to destroy Israel. Israel could not afford to lose this war. Had
Israel lost, it would cease to exist.
If we go back before the establishment of Israel in 1948, we notice that theArabswere
consistent in a rejectionist attitude towards the establishment of a Jewish
state in their midst. When Israel was established on 14 May 1948, the Arabs
referred to it asAl Naqba-
the Catastrophe, and since then wars were fought against Israel in an attempt
to destroy the Jewish State.
If we
examine the history of this conflict, it is not difficult to realize that
the conflict did not begin with the occupation of 1967 but many years before
Israel's establishment. The emphasis on the occupation being the cause of the
conflict is simply because of political interests and the desire to
delegitimize Israel. This does not mean that the
"occupation" is justified if it allows Jewish settlements. After all,
it is disputed territory. Establishing settlements simply weakens Israel's case
in that it turns Israel into an occupying and colonizing power on the ground,
ruling a people that are hostile.
Today
with the uncompromising attitude of Hamas, the duplicity of the PA, and the
radical changes in the Arab environment around Israel, including Daesh (ISIS)
and various other Islamist terror groups, creates great instability. This is
not conducive to solving theIsraeli-Palestinian Conflict.
Peace negotiations between the two sides are moribund.
It is
obvious, despite the very bleak situation that a solution to this conflict
lies in negotiations between the warring parties. Hamas has closed the doors to
that and the PA has no authority to jump start negotiations without Hamas
support, which will just not happen under the present environment.
Maybe
there is another way of facilitating the initiation of negotiations. A hint of
this could perhaps come from the Joint List in the Knesset. They are in an
ideal position to be mediators or facilitators. These Knesset members
speak Arabic and Hebrew fluently. They support the Two-State Solution, interact
with Israelis and understand the Palestinian position. They also do have
Palestinian support in the West Bank. This mediation position that
they could take stands a greater chance of success towards solving the conflict
than if a third country, ignorant of the Palestinian and Israeli psyche,
would ever have. Giving the Joint List more responsibility in peace negotiations has never been tried and perhaps there is a possibility that they can really play a positive role.
The avoidance by the Palestinian Leadership of critical issues over many years
of dead-end negotiations is because they cannot come to terms with Israel's
existence. It is perhaps on these issues that the Joint List has the potential
of being a facilitator in future peace negotiations. The issues are so crucial
for both Israelis and Palestinians and lack of vision for new ideas on both
sides do not give much promise on making peace. The Joint List option could be a
new direction that may produce positive results as they are not viewed as enemies
of the Palestinian people in the PA-Hamas controlled areas. The Joint List, even
though they are regarded with suspicion and the action of the three MK's
mentioned was not productive, created further animosity as a really bad
tactic that was unnecessary and achieved nothing. After the hype of this unfortunate meeting will blow over and the possibility of Joint List participation in bridging the wide gaps between the two sides can be given more serious consideration.

Over the last few weeks, the right wing Government has been labelling various left wing-oriented NGOs (Breaking the Silence, B'tzelem, Peace Now and New Israel Fund) as moles (traitors), who are accused of spreading falsehoods against Israel and doing much damage to Israel's image and working for the interests of Israel's enemies. This phenomena has know spread to culture in Israel. It all began with the Minister of Culture and Sport threatening to withhold state subsidies to cultural activities such as theatre productions that do not tow the "patriotic" line of thought and are viewed as hostile to Israel's existence in the widest possible interpretation. This is one stage before censoring theatre productions that do not tow the ruling right wing coalition line. This is happening in the education system under the auspices of the Minister of Education, Naftali Bennett, who has an agenda of dovetailing education to suit his right wing views on religious National Zionism and the settler movements encouraging settlement in the occupied territories. The civics textbook "To be a Citizen of Israel" that is in draft form and will become the "Bible" of civics education of pupils is apparently full of inaccuracies tailored to suit the world view of Naftali Bennett. This is the trend that one finds in dictatorship ruled countries and not in democracies.
In dictatorships, culture and education is dovetailed to suit the ruling political party outlook. They change history, ideology as well as educational values in order to prolong their power by brainwashing with party propaganda. Culture and education become political and the property of the dictatorship in power. Some examples of this in history were in Communist and Fascist States. It is hoped that Israel's democracy will not change towards soft-serve totalitarianism and witch-hunt techniques as was in the US under the influence of McCarthyism. Education must be truthful and not be influenced by politics of ruling parties. The same must be applicable to culture. The right to criticise is part and parcel of democracy. Diversity in vibrant culture patterns, even avant garde ideas should be encouraged provided that they are not racist or insulting to the kaleidoscope of cultures existing in Israel. Society is always evolving and not static. This should apply to education and culture as well. A worrisome trend is the ideology of an extremist right wing organisation or NGO, Im Tirtzu, that is obsessed with the idea of "moles" undermining Israel in the left wing NGO's and is encouraging hatred of those who do not hold their extremist, fascist, nationalistic world view. They have now attacked Israeli artists, who are the backbone of Israel's artistic talent in writing and theatre. Im Tirtzu accuses them of being "left wing moles" working against Israel. They published a Blacklist of Israeli artists and intellectuals.
Im Tirtzu is what Netanyahu supports
Miri Regev and Naftali Bennett have both opened the Pandora's Box and Im Tirtzu, the pseudo-fascist organisation, jumped out, spewing their hate and paranoia towards those that do not hold their world view in Israel's cultural world. Amos Oz, David Grossman (whose son was killed in the last Lebanese war), A.B. Yehoshua are viewed by this organization as traitors. In the theatrical world, Gila Almagor, Rivka Michaeli and a host of others, who are the backbone of Israel's culture, have been accused of being traitors.The root of this shocking organization comes from the ruling right wing Israeli government. This organization became an embarrassment to the "Netanyahu - Bennett - Regev Triumvirate" that they condemned Im Tirtzu. This is perhaps to their credit. The most outspoken statement against this nefarious organisation came from the Likud Member of Knesset, Benny Begin. These Israeli artists are a credit to Israel, and have worldwide recognition for their contributions to culture. Israel would have been poorer culturally if not for these Israeli artists whose love and concern for Israel is unquestionable. Who is Im Tirtzu? A miserable, hateful, pseudo-fascist, racist organisation that does much damage to Israel. The sooner they disappear from Israel the better for Israel and its citizens.Their tactics of hate for those, who do not hold their McCarthyite world view, has exploded in their faces, even more so because of condemnation from those right wingers in the Knesset, who are also responsible for their creation. This shocking organisation is no credit to Israel or to the Jewish People.
We all wish that the
occupation would end. The
occupation is unacceptable morally. Unfortunately, the reality is different and
if the occupation goes, the alternative for both Israel and the Palestinians
will be far worse. The conflict has become more radical and the element of religion
has become part of the conflict which is not only a dispute over land. We must also take
into account the various players, including the Islamist terrorist groups such
as Hamas, ISIS (Daesh), Salafis, Islamic Jihad and others. The right wing Jewish terrorist
movements are also a factor that cannot be overlooked.
Israel's
successive Governments have often expressed their desire not to rule over
another people. This would make Israel into a colonizing country. Since the
June War of 1967, this has become the situation. We must bear in mind that
Hamas has stated that Israel has occupied Palestinian lands on 14 May 1948 when
it was established. Therefore as far as Hamas is concerned, Israel is occupied
territory and in order to achieve peace, Israel must cease to exist and a
Palestinian State must replace it. There is no room for any negotiations with
thePalestinian leadershipwhile the mindset of Hamas is to achieve Israel's total destruction, even though Israel is accused of not being a partner
for peace talks. Is Hamas a partner for peace talks? Is the weakened PA a
partner? President Mahmoud Abbas and his PA have no support
from his people and if elections were held in the West Bank
tomorrow, he and the PA will be replaced by Hamas. The latter unfortunately
holds the cards as to whether there will be recognition ofIsrael's right to existor to negotiations for a peace treaty.
While this mindset of Hamas non-recognition of Israel remains, there will never
be a peace partner on the Israel side. In the most unlikely scenario that Israel
does decide unilaterally to withdraw all settlements in theoccupied West Bank, and
the occupation is ended, there will still be no peace until Israel ceases to
exist for the reasons mentioned at the beginning of this article.
Hamas will still support and justify terror against Israelis and will even take
it a step further. It will not only be stabbings by lone-wolf Palestinians but
also a return to suicide bombings, Qassam missiles and the like fired into
Israel cities and towns as was the case in Gaza.

It will be hell for the Palestinians whoever rules.
Peaceful Solutions, Initiatives and International Conferences:
Article Thirteen:
Initiatives, and so-called peaceful solutions and international
conferences, are in contradiction to the principles of theIslamic
Resistance Movement. Abusing any part of Palestine is abuse directed
against part of religion. Nationalism of the Islamic Resistance Movement is
part of its religion. Its members have been fed on that. For the sake of
hoisting the banner of Allah over their homeland they fight. "Allah will
be prominent, but most people do not know."
Now and then the call goes out for the convening of an
international conference to look for ways of solving the (Palestinian)
question. Some accept, others reject the idea, for this or other reason, with
one stipulation or more for consent to convening the conference and
participating in it. Knowing the parties constituting the conference, their
past and present attitudes towards Moslem problems, the Islamic Resistance
Movement does not consider these conferences capable of realizing the demands,
restoring the rights or doing justice to the oppressed. These conferences are
only ways of setting the infidels in the land of theMoslemsas arbitrators. When did the infidels do justice
to the believers?
"But the Jews will
not be pleased with thee, neither the Christians, until thou follow their
religion; say, the direction of Allah is the true direction. And verily if thou
follow their desires, after the knowledge which hath been given thee, thou
shalt find no patron or protector against Allah." (The Cow - verse 120).
There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through
Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of
time and vain endeavors. ThePalestinian peopleknow better than to consent to having their future, rights and
fate toyed with. As in said in the honorable Hadith:
"The people of
Syria areAllah'slash in His land. He wreaks His vengeance through them against
whomsoever He wishes among His slaves it is unthinkable that those who are
double-faced among them should prosper over the faithful. They will certainly
die out of grief and desperation."
The Three Circles:

The question of the liberation of Palestine is bound to three
circles: the Palestinian circle, the Arab circle and the Islamic circle. Each
of these circles has its role in the struggle against Zionism. Each has its
duties, and it is a horrible mistake and a sign of deep ignorance to overlook
any of these circles. Palestine is an Islamic land which has the first of the
two kiblahs (direction to which Moslems turn in praying), the third of the holy
(Islamic) sanctuaries, and the point of departure for Mohamed's midnight
journey to the seven heavens (i.e. Jerusalem).
Mind set of Hamas is identical to these xenophobic racist radical Muslims. This is Muslim Brotherhood stuff that Hamas adheres to. "Praise be unto him
who transported his servant by night, from the sacred temple of Mecca to the
farthertemple of Jerusalem,
the circuit of which we have blessed, that we might show him some of our signs;
for Allah is he who heareth, and seeth." (The Night-Journey- verse 1).
Since this is the case, liberation of Palestine is then an
individual duty for very Moslem wherever he may be. On this basis, the problem
should be viewed. This should be realized by every Moslem.
The day the problem is dealt with on this basis, when the three
circles mobilize their capabilities, the present state of affairs will change
and the day of liberation will come nearer.
"Verily ye are
stronger than they, by reason of the terror cast into their breasts from Allah.
This, because they are not people of prudence." (The Emigration - verse
13).
The Jihad for the
Liberation of Palestine is an Individual Duty:
Article Fifteen:
The day that enemies usurp part of Moslem land, Jihad becomes the
individual duty of every Moslem. In face of the Jews' usurpation of Palestine,
it is compulsory that the banner of Jihad be raised. To do this requires the
diffusion of Islamic consciousness among the masses, both on the regional, Arab
and Islamic levels. It is necessary to instill the spirit of Jihad in the heart
of the nation so that they would confront the enemies and join the ranks of the
fighters.
It is necessary that scientists, educators and teachers,
information and media people, as well as the educated masses, especially the
youth and sheikhs of the Islamic movements, should take part in the operation
of awakening (the masses). It is important that basic changes be made in the
school curriculum, to cleanse it of the traces of ideological invasion that
affected it as a result of the orientalists and missionaries who infiltrated
the region following the defeat of the Crusaders at the hands of Salah el-Din
(Saladin). The Crusaders realised that it was impossible to defeat the Moslems
without first having ideological invasion pave the way by upsetting their
thoughts, disfiguring their heritage and violating their ideals. Only then
could they invade with soldiers. This, in its turn, paved the way for the
imperialistic invasion that made Allenby declare on entering Jerusalem:
"Only now have the Crusades ended." General Guru stood at Salah
el-Din's grave and said: "We have returned O Salah el-Din."
Imperialism has helped towards the strengthening of ideological invasion,
deepening, and still does, its roots. All this has paved the way towards the
loss of Palestine.
It is necessary to instill in the minds of the Moslem generations
that the Palestinian problem is a religious problem, and should be dealt with
on this basis. Palestine contains Islamic holy sites. In it there is al- Aqsa
Mosque which is bound to the great Mosque in Mecca in an inseparable bond as
long as heaven and earth speak of Isra` (Mohammed's midnight journey to the
seven heavens) and Mi'raj (Mohammed's ascension to the seven heavens from
Jerusalem).
"The bond of one
day for the sake of Allah is better than the world and whatever there is on it.
The place of one's whip in Paradise is far better than the world and whatever
there is on it. A worshipper's going and coming in the service of Allah is
better than the world and whatever there is on it." (As related by
al-Bukhari, Moslem, al-Tarmdhi and Ibn Maja).
"I swear by the
holder of Mohammed's soul that I would like to invade and be killed for the
sake of Allah, then invade and be killed, and then invade again and be
killed." (As related by al-Bukhari and Moslem).
It is clear that
on reading Article 13, 14 and 15 of the Hamas Charter, we can see that their mindset is not on peace with Israelbut on waging war by various means of terror
acts blessed by theirreligious leaders (Imams)and theirtycoon "exiled"
leadershipin the fleshpots of
Qatar, the claim that Israel is not a partner for peace is ludicrous
as they are no partners for peace by their own admittance
according to their charter.
The Hamas Charter and the goals of ISIS are similar. This
similarity will only increase in the near future. The Middle East
neighborhood around Israel with the ISIS savages in the shadows
awaiting the end to the occupation.
If in the event that the occupation ends, they will then step in and
compete with Hamas to establish a Muslim Caliphate in the area that was known
as the West Bank, Gaza and the Golan Heights, the north of the latter is in a state of
anarchy with various Shiite groups and Islamist warring factions killing each
other. Its status is still unclear as President Assad's position is weakening
and Russia is now involved in trying to prop him up.
ISIS (DAESH) and Hamas have the
same goals in establishing a Caliphate.There will be a war between them as to who will
rule the former occupied territories. The situation of the Palestinians in the "newly liberated" territories will become untenable. Hamas or ISIS will rule
depending on who wins the struggle for power. The settlers will not be there
and the whole area will become a killing field against the infidels, ISIS-style. There will be no democracy or human rights. There will be beheadings,
raping of women and non-Muslims (Jews and Christians as well as Muslims, who are
considered apostates), will be mercilessly slaughtered using the worst form of
cruelty imaginable. We are seeing this wherever ISIS takes control. This will
happen in the areas that were once under Israeli occupation.
Israel will be more involved in preventing ISIS and Hamas terrorist incursions
and the threat to Israel's security will increase manifold as attempts to
destroy Israel and include it in their Palestinian State plans will increase.
Many Palestinians will lose their lives under Hamas or ISIS rule. The two
warring terrorist factions may even form a coalition after the feud with the
common desire to establish a Caliphate under strict sharia law. There will be no free Palestine! It will be an area of chaos similar
to that of Iraq, Syria and Lebanon. It will be a state where Palestinians will
be fleeing as is happening in Syria.
Is this scenario preferable to Israeli occupation? Israel will not agree to sign
an agreement that will compromise its security or legitimize its destruction as
Hamas would desire. If these are the conditions for peace then Israel will definitely not be a partner.
