The Unpredictability and Sanity of President Donald Trump

Now that Donald Trump is the new president of the United States, many voters in the US and people all over the world are beginning to question the sanity and unpredictability of the new president. There have been a large number of articles on the net written by psychologists of all specialties on President Donald Trump’s sanity.

Naturally those who support Trump blindly in the desperate hope of radical change in the US from the previous Obama Administration were jubilant at his winning the presidential election. Many Trump supporters are accusing the media of a witch-hunt and the left inclined voters of mass hysteria against him. They view Trump as almost a godsend for the people of the US. He has made many promises of making America great once again after the “foreign countries have bled America dry” because of billions of dollars spent on help to foreign countries by the previous administration. Trump, in his inauguration speech, has stated that this aid will stop. The big question is: Will this sweeping statement apply to the billions of dollars aid that the previous administration has given to Israel’s security? Will Israel be exempted from Trump’s blanket statement on US foreign aid? There are no answers to these questions, especially from a president that is very unpredictable and of questionable sanity.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Friday that put a four-month hold on allowing refugees into the United States and temporarily barred travelers from Syria and six other countries.1 

These seven countries are listed under section 217(a)(12) of the INA, 8 U.S.C. 1187(a)(12) of the U.S. code, and it is this code that Trump's executive order cited while banning citizens of those nations. 2

Who would have thought that President Trump would override the Constitution in his desire to sign an order to close all airports to entry of Muslim citizens of the US on their return from oversea, including their families and travelers who have visas and are legally entitled to entry into the US? The acting Attorney General of the US, Sally Bates, was fired for speaking out against Trump’s travel ban and not because of the change from previous Obama Administration to the present Trump Administration. Trump pundits will say that she was relieved of her post because of change in the administration from Obama to Trump. This is not the case here. She questioned the legality of the Executive Order signed by Trump. It is obvious that if you question Trump’s Executive Orders, whether you are a Trump appointee or not you will be on the firing line. Below is her letter to the Justice Department Attorneys on Trump’s Travel Ban:

“On January 27, 2017, the President signed an Executive Order regarding immigrants and refugees from certain Muslim-majority countries. The order has now been challenged in a number of jurisdictions. As the Acting Attorney General, it is my ultimate responsibility to determine the position of the Department of Justice in these actions.

My role is different from that of the Office of Legal Counsel (OLC), which, through administrations of both parties, has reviewed Executive Orders for form and legality before they are issued. OLC’s review is limited to the narrow question of whether, in OLC’s view, a proposed Executive Order is lawful on its face and properly drafted. Its review does not take account of statements made by an administration or it surrogates close in time to the issuance of an Executive Order that may bear on the order’s purpose. And importantly, it does not address whether any policy choice embodied in an Executive Order is wise or just.

Similarly, in litigation, DOJ Civil Division lawyers are charged with advancing reasonable legal arguments that can be made supporting an Executive Order. But my role as leader of this institution is different and broader. My responsibility is to ensure that the position of the Department of Justice is not only legally defensible, but is informed by our best view of what the law is after consideration of all the facts. In addition, I am responsible for ensuring that the positions we take in court remain consistent with this institution’s solemn obligation to always seek justice and stand for what is right. At present, I am not convinced that the defense of the Executive Order is consistent with these responsibilities nor am I convinced that the Executive Order is lawful.

Consequently, for as long as I am the Acting Attorney General, the Department of Justice will not present arguments in defense of the Executive Order, unless and until I become convinced that it is appropriate to do so.”

The travel ban has caused much pain and difficulty for innocent Muslim travelers (many of whom are US Citizens and many non-citizens have legal visas for entry into the US) and their families at airports all over the US. The excuse - they compromise US security by being Muslims who happen to be born in the 7 Muslim States that have been blacklisted by Trump as security threats. The US has every right to screen people from countries that are a terror threat to the US before granting them visas of entry. However, once they have been screened and granted visas, it is unacceptable morally to refuse them entry on the grounds of their religious denomination. This applies to refugees as well.

Between 1975 and 2015, foreign nationals from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen killed exactly zero Americans on U.S. soil, according to an analysis of terror attacks by the Cato Institute.   

Moreover, a report released this week shows that Muslim Americans with family backgrounds in those seven countries have killed no Americans over the last 15 years.

Twenty-three percent of the Muslim Americans involved with violent extremist plots since Sept. 11, 2001, had family backgrounds in Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria or Yemen, according to a Triangle Center on Terrorism and Homeland Security report released this week. None of those plots resulted in American deaths.

Similarly, none of the 19 plane hijackers on 9/11 were from any of those seven countries. 

What about Mexico and the security wall that Trump wishes to build with Mexican money to keep Mexicans out?

The president of Mexico has canceled a state visit to Washington, and prominent Mexican leaders say that Trump's border wall plans “could take us to a war — not a trade war.”3 

Can you imagine what would happen if Israel built a security fence using Palestinian Tax money for that purpose? Even Israel never stooped to that low level. The cherry on the Mexican cake is PM Bibi Netanyahu’s tweet supporting Trump’s decision on the wall. Mexico’s Foreign Minister called in Israel’s Ambassador for a dressing down over the matter.    

PM Netanyahu should not have sent the tweet on this matter It was unnecessary and in very bad taste.

It appears that the Government Coalition in Israel is ecstatic over President Trump. The fact that he appears sympathetic to the right wing settler enterprise in the occupied territories and his declaration of moving the American Embassy to Jerusalem is lovely music to the present Israeli leadership. They expect a carte blanche from the Trump Administration to do what they like in the territories. Even the new incoming US Ambassador, David Friedman, is on record as supporting the settler movement by donations in his own private capacity. What the Israeli leadership does not seem to take into consideration is the unpredictability of President Donald Trump.

President Donald Trump must be treated with suspicion by Israel as he is not what he seems to be. There are many faces to Trump. A healthy, discreet distance between the Israeli Government and the Trump Administration will be a positive direction. His macabre relationship with President Vladimir Putin of Russia is also ominous. He will be ruling America as if it is his own business enterprise.

Palestinian and IS Terror - No Mercy for Them!

Paris is on alert since the Friday 13th November, 2015 terror attack. The rest of Europe is not immune from terror attacks either. The latest reports coming from Brussels in Belgium are that there are Islamist terror cells there as well waiting for an opportunity to strike. Other capitals in Europe are under threat. Surely this is a wake-up call for Europe to realize the dangers of radical Islam to which they have been indifferent for many years. In fact their attitude towards radical Islam has been close to appeasement. These radicals have established mosques all over Europe, attracting xenophobic hateful Imams to deliver anti-Jewish sermons as well as attacking European civilization for many years; their sermons have even spilled over into hating non-Muslims and non-believers in Islam generally. The latter are referred to as Kaffirs in Arabic. The Europeans granted these Islamic trash residential permits in their respective countries.

As I mentioned in a previous post, the EU that represents most countries in Europe have turned a blind eye to these radicals who are also responsible for recruiting wayward European and first generation youth of Middle Eastern origin to the ranks of IS for training in IS camps in Syria. This means indoctrination by IS savages of radical Islam and how to murder people in their home country by mega acts of terror on their return to their respective countries in Europe. The EU was busy bashing Israel in order to appease the radicals in the hope that they would be left off the hook of Islamist terror. The parasitic BDS “humanists“ had a field day, usurping EU and US funds for boycotting, divesting and sanctioning Israel for their “ill treatment” of Palestinians under Israeli Occupation.  

The Palestinians under Israeli occupation are living in paradise compared to those in Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq under IS rule. The European appeasement of the radicals in their midst by the apathy of their security police has hit them like a boomerang.

The wave of anti-Israel propaganda moving across Europe, fanned by the radical Islamists from the pulpits of their mosques, sends out a message that by following their line of hate, cooperating with BDS and sympathizing with moving towards sharia law and a caliphate will save their souls. Double standard “humanists” are always condemning Islamophobia and saying that it is racism. Not a word from these “humanist” idiots condemning the hate towards non-Muslims coming from radical Islam. Islamophobia is a reaction to radical Islam and this is a legitimate fear of Islam as portrayed by the evil radicals. The average man in the street is unable to distinguish radical Islamists from mainstream Islam. They suffer from radical Islamist terrorism and this causes Islamophobia. Some of these “humanist” hypocrites do however condemn the Paris attacks but show empathy for Palestinian attacks against innocent people in Israel. The usual mantra of theirs: “Palestinians are suffering under Israeli Occupation. They are living under an apartheid regime. They have no human rights and suffer from severe discrimination. They are abused physically”. They continue: “Palestinians have every right to fight against the Israeli oppressor and even stabbing innocent people is part of the legitimate fight”. They believe in “selective terrorism”. Killing innocent Jews in Israel is fine but not mega terror in Europe. They fail to realize that it is the same ideology that encourages terror, irrespective of Hamas or IS (Daesh) terror. Hamas is not interested in liberation of the Palestinian people or a Palestinian State alongside Israel. Their Palestinian State includes Israel as one mega-Caliphate along IS-Hamas lines.

The solution to Hamas-IS terror is the same. They have declared war on non-Muslims. The evil cruel ideology comes from xenophobic, hateful, charismatic, imams that preach in mosques under the guise of freedom of speech in the capitals of Europe. Their sermons of hate are predominant in the occupied territories as well. Potential Palestinian terrorists are influenced by the evil propaganda against Jews that come out of the Palestinian education system

Negotiating with IS or even Hamas is a useless exercise in futility. These savages have to be treated in the same way as Nazis, which they really are in their ideology. Nazis wanted to dominate the world and destroy those who opposed them. Fortunately the Allies united and destroyed them. The same tactic of destruction of IS and Hamas must be adopted by all those who value their freedom from sharia law-IS-Hamas style.

Mosques in Europe and the non-Muslim world where evil, hate-mongering, racist Imams preach must be destroyed and these Imams arrested or expelled to the countries of their origin. Their places of residence should also be demolished lest it becomes a shrine for IS and their evil ilk. They are the source of evil. They have created Islamophobia. They are the peddlers of terrorism! Any house of worship used for racist hate mongering, irrespective of faith must be destroyed. World statistics show that most terrorist acts in the world today are committed by Muslim Radical Groups. Palestinian and IS terror have the same goals. Both have no goals for liberation or creating a society that has basic human dignity and democracy enshrined in their charter.

The Tragedy in Paris and The EU Appeasement of Islamism

We have witnessed a terrible tragedy in Paris with the cruel massacre of close to 127 people, about 200 injuries ranging from light to critical. How is it possible that Daesh managed to send in 8 suicide terrorists to commit such a despicable crime under the noses of the French Security Authorities? We extend our sympathies to France and to the families and friends who have lost loved ones in this terrible tragedy.

J’accuse the EU with their vacillating, appeasing attitude towards Muslims. They bow to their whim and fancy, even to the extent that their attitude towards the culture of Europe takes second place to sharia law. The EU exhibits enormous tolerance for the Muslim onslaught on European culture and democratic values so non-existent in the Muslim world. The immigrants build mosques where xenophobic imams preach hatred for Jews and Christians, unhindered as this is their democratic right to free speech, while underneath it all there is recruitment of wayward European youth into the arms of Daesh via Turkey to training camps in Syria where they are trained to return to Europe to kill for the cause of establishing a caliphate in Europe and converting Europeans to Islam by the sword.

What is Europe and their representative the EU doing to counter this? Nothing! The EU is wasting energy on bashing Israel and hugging BDS “humanists” and their hypocritical NGO allies  condemning Israel for its “human rights abuses” of the Palestinians under Israeli occupation. The fact that many of these “poor Palestinians” are involved in acts of terror against innocent Israelis in their “justified liberation struggle” against the occupation does not influence the double-standard, spineless EU in their attitude towards Israel, which is apologetic at its best to downright indifferent at its worst.

The latest time wasting activity of the EU is to pass legislation to label Israeli products from the occupied territories for boycott while ISIS is preparing the groundwork for a mega attack in Paris.  How noble and brave is the EU!! The Palestinians “under Israeli Occupation” are far better off than their brothers in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya and Yemen where ISIS and their Islamist terrorist groups are decapitating and murdering without mercy. Yet the EU and the double standard NGO “humanists” continue to bash and isolate Israel for “abusing” the poor Palestinians that are harboring Hamas-ISIS home-style terrorists in their midst.

Can you imagine the Palestinians achieving an independent state in place of the occupation? It will be a state run by Hamas-ISIS. This is guaranteed! Enough said. It will not be a paragon of democratic values. Blood, decapitations and torture will be rampant. All this will be on Israel’s doorstep threatening Israel’s existence.

The pathetic EU is laying the groundwork for the next spate of mega-terror attacks on European soil by their appeasement and spineless attitude towards ISIS on their soil. EU, leave Israel alone to join the battle against Islamist terror! The “occupation” is our guarantee against ISIS and its ally, the evil Hamas. The alternative is far worse. Today it is Paris - tomorrow, who knows? The time has come to smell the true Islamist coffee beans and to unite to expel this cancer from Europe. It will never be achieved while the EU panders to the whims of sharia law and its hateful imams of the mosques of hatred in Europe. The price that Europe will pay by kow-towing to Islamist extremism will be great and involve more mega terrorist acts.
